Where should my server be?

1. Latency is the delay between your players or visitors and the server. The closer the server is to most of them, the lower it is.
2. Hartwell is based in the United States. Salt Lake City, Utah is our first planned location, and other U.S. locations are listed as planned until they are live.
3. The Locations page shows each location and whether it is live or planned. We never show a planned location as live.
4. If most of your players are far from the nearest location, pick the location closest to the majority and check the connection yourself before committing.
5. Moving later is possible: ask support and we will tell you what is available.

Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
