FAQ
Minecraft hosting questions.
Do you support Bedrock, Forge or Fabric?
Not yet. Hartwell Minecraft servers run Java Edition on Paper, which supports Bukkit and Spigot plugins. Forge, Fabric and Bedrock servers are not offered at the moment.
Can I install plugins?
Yes. Upload plugins over SFTP into the plugins folder. Larger plugin sets benefit from the Pro plan or above.
How many players can my server hold?
Player capacity depends on mods, plugins, world size and server settings, so we do not tie a player count to a RAM size. Start with the recommended plan and upgrade from your dashboard if you need more resources.
How quickly is my server ready?
Servers are provisioned automatically after payment. Installation usually completes within a few minutes, and access details appear in your dashboard.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrades are applied automatically when capacity is available in your region. You are only charged once the upgrade can actually be provisioned.
