Set up your FiveM server

1. Create a free server license key on the official Cfx.re keymaster site, using your own account. Never share it.
2. Enter the key in your server settings in the control panel. The server will not start without it.
3. Start the server and read the console to confirm it is running.
4. Edit server.cfg from the Files tab to set the server name, slot count and the resources you want loaded.
5. Upload resources to the resources folder and add an ensure line for each one in server.cfg.
6. Add one resource at a time and restart. A broken resource is the usual reason a server fails to start.

Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
