Get started with your game server control panel
A tour of the console, files, backups and settings in your panel.
- Open your server in the dashboard and choose Open control panel. You sign in automatically.
- The Console tab shows live output and lets you type commands. Use Start, Restart and Stop above it.
- The Files tab lets you edit configuration files in the browser and upload or download files. Use SFTP for large uploads.
- The Backups tab creates and restores backups. Make one before you change mods, plugins or settings.
- The Startup and Settings tabs hold options for your game, such as version or map. Change one setting at a time and restart to apply it.
- The meters show live memory, CPU and storage. A meter near full means it is time to trim files or upgrade.
Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
