Do I need a token?
Yes. Valve requires a Steam game server login token (GSLT) for public servers. Create one on the Steam site and paste it into your server settings. Hartwell staff will never ask you for it.
How many players can my server hold?
Player capacity depends on mods, plugins, world size and server settings, so we do not tie a player count to a RAM size. Start with the recommended plan and upgrade from your dashboard if you need more resources.
How quickly is my server ready?
Servers are provisioned automatically after payment. Installation usually completes within a few minutes, and access details appear in your dashboard.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrades are applied automatically when capacity is available in your region. You are only charged once the upgrade can actually be provisioned.
